MEMBERSHIP RULES & REGULATIONS
[Article 1 Member Types & Definition]
Members (hereafter referred to as the "Registered Members") are regarded as the people or organizations that have submitted a formal Membership Registration form and agreed to abide by the Membership Rules and Regulations, the Membership Code of Professional Conduct and the Terms Of Service.
The High-Impact Coaching Alliance (HICA) offers several types of Memberships including Individual, Corporate and Alliance Partner, hereafter collectively referred to as the "Registered Members".
Registered Members agree to only apply with their legally given name and to not knowingly provide, transmit or submit false information, false review or false statements. In addition, Registered Members agree not to abuse, threaten, harass or abuse HICA members, users of the HICA name and community. Further, Registered Members agree to not disseminate confidential information at any time nor in any manner. Register Members also agree to ensure that HICA has the most up to date contact information of the Registered Member, including but not limited to postal address, email address, home phone number, mobile number and so on.
[Article 2 Member Professional Code of Conduct]
HICA maintains the highest standards of professional conduct. At the heart professionalism in any discipline or industry, must be the requirement and willingness to practice one's work in an ethical manner. HICA requires its members to adhere to strict principles and has set out detailed expectations and requirements for its members in the Code of Professional and Ethical Conduct.
The Code of Conduct serves as a guide to consultants, practitioners and members as well as a point of reference for users of these processes and services. The principles set out in the Code also serve the purpose of promoting public confidence in coaching and consulting.
All Registered members are contractually bound to comply with the constitutional terms of this Code of Conduct.
A significant breach or de facto breach of any part or provision of the Code of Conduct is considered misconduct. Inevitably, members who fall significantly below the standards set out in the Code are open to complaint by members of the public, users or members of HICA and thus are open to investigation our Professional Standards Committee (PSC).
The PSC may investigate all complaints against members, of whatever nature, irrespective of whether or not they might relate to coaching or consulting and regardless of whether said conduct or behavior occurred on this website or within the HICA community.
[Article 3 Member ID]
a. Registered members shall be fully responsible for the management and use of own member IDs issued to the registered members.
b. Registered members shall not let any third parties use their member IDs or passwords nor shall they leak them. Registered members will also do their best to ensure said member IDS, passwords and related documents stay safe and secured.
[Article 4 Start of Use ]
Upon completion of the membership registration procedures, and upon approval by HICA, member IDs will be issued and notification will be given to the registered members by E-mail. Registered members can, upon receipt of IDs, begin to utilize all resources of HICA including "member only "protected sections of the website. Membership Badges and their usage will be administered separately. However, under no circumstances, does membership authorize a member or former member to hack into, break into, breech or make any attempt therein to view, access, download, save, forward, transmit, print, delete, edit or modify the HICA administrative or protected areas.
[Article 5 Data]
a. Data provided through our services come in a variety of sources. You may need to install additional software to play, listen to or read
documents or multimedia files.
b. The copyrights on all the data, including blog posts, member and user complaints, comments, rants, raves and feedback to be
provided through our service, unless otherwise stated, belongs to HICA. Except for in-house and personal use, you are not allowed to copy them without the prior express written permission of HICA. You also agree not to use, sell, transfer or lend them to any third
parties.
c. HICA shall not be responsible for any loss arising with the data analyzed or modified by Registered Members or any third parties.
d. HICA reserves the right to change the materials or design of the product, products, information or services without prior notice.
[Article 6 Usage and Application of Membership Badges]
Upon acceptance of an applicant as an HICA Registered Member, HICA at its sole discretion may allow Registered Members to use particular Membership Badges based on the type of Membership the Member holds and provided that said usage is in accordance with the Terms Of Service.
Under no circumstances, however, will a Registered Member be able to use a Badge until (a) HICA transmits a customized badge for Registered Member usage and (b) Registered Member agrees to the Terms of Service regulating the proper and acceptable usage of said badge. Further, upon written notice, Registered Members agree to delete, remove or unlink all HICAMembership Badges upon the written request of HICA.
[Article 7 Indemnity]
HICA shall not be responsible for any loss arising from direct or indirect results of your use of our services or from its spillover effect.
[Article 8 Cancellation of Membership]
In the event that Registered Members contravene or violate these rules and regulations, Registered Members will lose their right to use this website including an Member services and they will be required to return or delete all the data and all their copies.
[Article 9 Interruption or Retardation of Information Service]
HICA shall not be responsible for any loss arising from the interruption, degradation, hacking or suspension of our service, including but not limited to databases, web servers, network equipment.
[Article 10 Revision of the Rules and Regulations]
HICA shall have right to revise the Membership Rules and Regulations and to establish any rules or regulations deemed to be necessary by HICA. In the event of any rule changes, be they addition, deletions of modifications, they will be posted on the HICA website and/or communicated via email with Registered Members..
